I love to blend a laid-back, bohemian vibe with strong architectural elements. Organic shapes inspire me, and creating asymmetry is key because it adds an intriguing dimension to my design. Three months after my father passed away, I got a call from Bryan Dicker, president of the company. He was going to be in Charleston and wanted to come by and thank me for the business I’d given them over the years. We met, and the collection went into production eight months later.

To have her as a partner in building the business, and later in building social media, has been great for us. For me, it’s about putting out a quality interior design shot every day and trying to be a little lighthearted about it—but showing the work consistently.
